From April 1942 to September 1944 he had been commanded to the Marine-Lehrverband (Navy Training Bulgarien unit Bulgaria) and commander of the port of Thesaloniki. Finally he had been commander of the port of Aarhus in Denmark form September 1944 till the end of the war.
