1894 built as steam yacht SAFA-EL-BAHR for Abbas Hilmi II Bey (Abbas Hilmi Pasha, Khedive of Egypt), Cairo, Egypt.
1915 to 1919 chartered by the British government and used as a Royal Navy patrol boat.
1920 acquired by Dracoulis Bros., Ithaca (today: Ithaki), Greece, for 26,000 £ and renamed ITHAKI, subsequently used as a passenger steamer.
1929 integrated into "Hellenic Coast Lines" Co. Ltd, Piraeus, Greece.
15.10.1940 commandeered by the Greek government and used as a transport ship.
20.04.1941, 12:30, with Captain Dimitris Konas in command and a crew of 39, attacked by Luftwaffe aircraft in Souda Bay, Crete, and sunk by bombs within 7 minutes with a loss of 18 men.
1949-1951 scrapped by N.O.A. (Greek Scrapping Committee).
